For me, photography is an adventure. My camera isn’t just a recording device – it’s a creative tool that allows me to capture visualizations in time and space and make and collect impressions.

The methodology for recording and delivering photographic images is undergoing serial revolutions, but the fundamental idea of making a photo stays the same: observe, capture and interpret a fleeting moment and produce a lasting, compelling visual memento.

I begin making photographs when I was a kid growing up in Dallas. I documented camping trips and family events, and made lots of pictures of my dog. My first recognition for photographic achievement was my Boy Scout merit badge in photography.

I’ve been a Computer Geek for most of my adult life; I spent several careers working as a high-tech handy man in the information technology industry. So my affinity for digital photography and imaging was a natural.

I live and work in Silicon Valley.
